Frequently have report visualisations spinning

Does anyone else have this issue?

Frequently I find that report visualisation just show the little spinning disk in the corner when i go into them.  They are all set to schedule refresh (generally every 2hrs during office hours) and show successful refresh at the last instance and it is not yet the next scheduled time.

If i click to do 'refresh now' nothing seems to happen.

Things generally go back to normal after a while (30mins to an hour or so).  I've logged it with Microsoft before, but by the time they got back to me it was fine and there was nothing for them to investigate.

Any ideas why this keeps happening?

I was getting the same thing just a few minutes ago.  The spinning disk appeared on all visuals, even a "shape" with no data behind it.  I eventually got a "Someting went wrong. Unable to load the data model" error message.  In the time I was taking to look at the forums and type this message, the issue has gone away (I refreshed the page and everything works).

I have ecnountered the spinning disk of nothingness intermittently in the past as well, and as you said it mostly resolves on its own after a bit of time.  Rather frustrating, and it would be nice to get a resolution.

Another post recommended turning off ad blockers.  That helped me somewhat--the issue doesn't occur quite as often.
