Freely choose color of app theme

When I choose the theme color of a Power BI app, there are 15 or so predetermined selection options. Is there another way?

(I'm asking because this post Solved: Re: App theme color - Microsoft Fabric Community has an obviously wrong solution that misses the question.)

Case in point: Our company has a corporate design main color, which just so happens to not be one of the app theme default colors. So when I want to include the company logo in a report and even match the report theme colors, the app theme violently crashes into that. That's a grave oversight in my opinion.

Hi @NotebookEnjoyer, unfortunately, you can't add any additional colors with the "normal" Workspace apps. Only the new Org Apps (which are still a preview feature) allow fully custom color selection:

Hello @NotebookEnjoyer

The “Solved” post you referenced is mostly correct for traditional Power BI apps in that it highlights the limitation: app themes are restricted to the preset color options, and you cannot enter an arbitrary hex or corporate color. That means your observation is accurate there’s currently no built-in way to freely choose a custom app theme color.

For full control over colors, the recommended approach is to use report-level themes with your corporate colors. These will display correctly inside the report, even if the app wrapper enforces one of the predefined theme colors.

If you want true custom app theme colors, Microsoft’s Org Apps (Preview) feature allows entering any hex/RGB color for the app theme, but this is not yet available for regular published apps.

The accepted solution in the referenced post doesn't answer the question. How on earth do you conclude that it is "mostly correct"???

"For full control over colors, the recommended approach is to use report-level themes with your corporate colors." That is also completely beside the question, which I find puzzling, because your last sentence IS the answer that I'm looking for.
