Free trial expired in fabric powerbi how to restart or extend
Hi @shafiz_p , Thanks for responding.
A little more info from my side. This query is regarding PowerBi Pro trial which is now expired and I have already purchased fabric capacity so ideally I should not face this
Hello @pratiksha19g ,
with having the fabric capacity, for power bi development you need to have a pro license.

Does your fabric capacity includes power bi pro. According to my knowledge Microsoft Fabric capacity does not include a Power BI Pro. If you have a Fabric capacity (F64 or higher), users with free licenses can view and interact with shared content without needing a Pro license. Only creators and sharers of content still require a Power BI Pro license which is about to expire. I think you need to buy a pro license, if you need to create or share content. See image:
However :
1. Ensure that your Fabric capacity is correctly assigned to your workspace. Go to the Power BI Admin Portal, navigate to Capacity settings, and check if your workspace is assigned to the Fabric capacity.
2. If not solved, contact Microsoft Support for assistance. Explain that your Power BI Pro trial expired but you have an active Fabric capacity subscription. They can help resolve any licensing conflicts.

Hope this helps!!

According to Microsoft Fabric trial, the Fabric trial lasts for 60 days, but can be extended by Microsoft, at their discretion. To request an extension, you need to contact Microsoft Fabric support and provide your trial capacity ID and the reason for the extension. You can find your trial capacity ID in the Account manager under Trial status.
