Formatting currency

I have a Power BI visualization that is created from a SharePoint list (Integrate-->Power BI-->Viisualize this list.

My currency columns have all been created the same way: type=Currency ; Number of decimal places: 2; Currency format United , States. There are 4 columns. When I create the visual using column1, column2, column3, column4. The result is that column1 does not have a $ sign in front of it, 1234.00 | $1234.00 | $1234.00 | $1234.00, It does however have the $ sign in the sharepoint list but does not have the $ if i change the visual to table. I am completely baffled. any help is greatly appreciated...I have tried to recreate the visual multiple times and still receive the same result. Frustrated to say the least 😞
