I'm having an issue when posting a dashboard on a workspace, on PBI desktop it looks fine and changes color as I need (like bottom chart shown), but on workspace it always changes the color. I tried everything on desktop, conditional formatting, different colors, configuring All datalabels, changing theme, creating the visual from scratch, manually changing the one I need and it always works; then when published it changes.
Picture shown is on workspace editing the dashboard and no matter what color I choose (even choosing for all data labels) it always shoes that gray.
Does anyone know what can I do to overcome this issue?
Thanks
Dear @Anonymous , I figured it out. Go to the data labels section of your visual. Scroll down to the end of the section and click on reset to default. Try now!

Thank you.
My best solution is delete background color data label on clustered bar in power bi service. But my dashboard have clustered-line bar chart, and its doesnt work. This bug is so annoying
Hi @RicksGiraldo and @lbendlin ,
@I have same issue on data label too. Please let me know, if you find the solution. Thank you. The issue has been there since last week. And i have tried everything. My power bi desktop august 2022
The september version specifically mentions data label work - might be worth a try
This is a very long running issue (active since many years) with no clear resolution roadmap. Try waving your magic wand, or if you don't have one, try to "touch" your report or dashboard in the Power BI Service (sometimes that seems to help to make the colors stick)
You can raise an issue at https://issues.powerbi.com . If you have a Pro license you can consider raising a Pro ticket at https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/
