Following Scorecard goal
Hello AutoJL,
So based on the Microsoft docs, following a goal is supposed to trigger Teams notifications whenever it's updated that includes an automated status rule changing the status, or someone adding a check-in.
But since you've already tested this with multiple users and found that followers only get notified when the goal actually has an assignee, that's not lining up with what the docs say should happen.
I will start by double-checking that the Power BI app is installed in Teams and that Teams notifications are turned on for the users affected. If all that checks out and it's still not working, honestly this may be a service issue or regression at that point worth opening a ticket with Microsoft support to get it looked at properly.
