First report access takes longer to load

Hello,

 

I've been making some tests and came to the conclusion that the first user that access a Power BI report in the morning takes a lot longer to load the report.

 

Does anyone know if that is true?

 

I'm thinking of scheduling a task to load my report every morning before business hours. What do you think about that?

    How much longer does it take to open?

    I assume this is the first person since a reload has happened and as such the cache is cold so the backend needs to fill it with new data, therefore it's only natural that the first person experiences a slower load time than other users.

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    I would suggest maybe automating a rendering of the report before anyone gets in in the morning? I'm guessing it has something to do with caching
