Is there a way to find out which Power BI visual/page a user exported a .csv from? My user who is adament that she exported detailed data from a visual. The example data she sent me looks exactly like she exported it from the drill-through page, but the user insists she exported this data directly from the visual without drilling through first.
I know that power bi csv exports contain filter information, but is there something in properties that shows the power bi visual or page name?

Hi @Anonymous
As @ribisht17 said , you can view operation log via audit logs . But only if you must either be a global admin or assigned the Audit Logs or View-Only Audit Logs role in Exchange Online to access the audit log.
Or you can use Power Shell to export activity log events , but it is more friendly to developers . Of course if you are interested, you can try it.
Access the Power BI activity log - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
These are for admin users, if you are just a normal user, you don't have permission to export logs.

You can check on your report directly / have a call with her directly to show the same.
You can check the user activity log if you are an Admin Track user activities in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Thanks,
Ritesh

I've already tried this. She stated that something about my report has changed and she can no longer do this. When I showed her a previous draft that I found from around the time when she said she did this, she was not able to replicate it in that scenario.
Unfortunately I do not have an admin role in this workspace.
