Filter on Dashboard
Hello,
I have a question. I have tiles of a few reports in a dashboard. I am trying to find out if there is anyway I can set up a filter in my dashboard so that it has different views for different departments. Please let me know. I have data for 2 years and would like to do cross filter on all the reports.

If we are talking Dashboards, then yes. Dashboard tiles maintain the filters they had when they were pinned. So you could pin a report visual multiple times to a dashboard with different filters. So, you could either create one big dashboard for everyone that has like sections in it or one dashboard per department and then create a main/central dashboard just with tiles that point to the other dashboards.
I want to to in like a slicer for them to choose a year which would automatically cross filter all the reports in the dashboard. Is there any way I can do this ?
For Slicer visual - don't have option with "Pin Visual".
To avoid that we have an alternative solution = "Pin a live page".
