Filter URL query string and "noSignupCheck"

Hello everyone,

so I wanted to create a fiew hyperlinks that already have preset filters for the user. I used URL query strings to accomplish this following the format of "?filter=Store/Territory eq 'NC'".

This in istelf actually works fine. When I create a new link and copy that into my browser I get the expected results. But when I use this link in a Powerpoint presentation for example things don't work quite as well.

Whenever I use a link in Powerpoint I have so sign in and afterwards I simply end up in the home screen instead of opening the linked report. So I did some research and found the "noSignupCheck=1" paramter which will skip the signing in procedure and will immediately direct me to my linked report.

This however will not apply the URL query string I included in the link. It will simply direct me to the default report..

Does anyone have an idea on how to combine those two, so I can create a hyperlink to a filtered report that works in Powerpoint?

Best regards

Pascal

Hi @_Pascal_ ,

When you run silde show in Power Point and open the hyperlink in the browser which you have saved your account information, although it will prompt you to sign in, you should not 'sign in' truly. And the browser will redirect to the report which is applied URL filter and it works fine.

hi there

What about if you have your sign in details saved in your browser will that work?

I have had that working in the past or have your presentation running in Power BI, then you will already have logged in and the link with the filter will work.
