File contains corrupted data

Dashboard was refreshing normally and suddenly I started to receive this type of error when trying to refresh from Power BI Service. However, the dashboard refreshes normally from the Power BI Deskto...

    Hi, 

    According to my research, this issue can be caused by multiple reasons, you can have a check:

     

    Core excel > 30MB
    Excel has password
    Permission issue
    Corrupted model
    Wrong type, error format, value issue, etc.

     

    If you still have a problem, you can try these steps to find if they can be useful:

     

    First, make sure the PBI desktop is the latest version.
    Then please delete the data source (File -> Options and Settings -> Data Source Settings) and reconnect to see if it works.
    Please make sure all permission and credentials are correct.

Hi,

    I found out there is an Excel sheet with "Highly Confidential" sensitivity, I excluded it from report refresh and it worked 🙂 I hope this was just the issue.
