Hi,
I am trying to implement a "Custom" view where the user can select which fields it wants to see on the table. The list of Field is a Field Parameter with about 30 options (they are grouped into categories). When the report is published to the service I have noticed various weird behaviors when selecting fields:
1. Sometimes after a selection is done previous selections get unselected.
2. Other times it just switches the order of the selected fields (Fiels selected third becomes the main, but other selected fields are still choosen)
Has anyone seen this behavior as well? Is this an known issue and if so do we know when a fix will be available?
I have observed similar discrepency in my report. The field parameters have 4 columns which is placed in the columns section in the table visual and in one of the axis in the bar chart. When i switch between grid and graph using bookmarks, the selections in the field parameters are getting blank.
Any idea on how to retain the selections?
Hi @SKattan ,
No known issues similar to yours have been received recently.Does it work properly in power bi desktop? Note the entire configuration process of the field parameter and some related constraints.

Hi @SKattan
Without being able to see what is happening it is tough to see how to solve the issue.
What I would suggest is to make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of Power BI Desktop. Then save and upload again?
I have version Version: 2.109.1021.0 64-bit (September 2022) which I believe is the latest one. The issue does not present itself on PBI Desktop only on the service once the report is published.
