Field Parameter Not updating in service

I'm running into an issue where the new field paramters are working great in power bi desktop, but when I publish to a workspace to share the report with others, the parameters appear to not be updat...

    Hi zshepherd,

     

    Currently, there is a fix for a similar issue that visual data doesn't properly change according to the change in Fields parameter Slicer sometimes(ICM 309646938).

    This fix will be generally available in product environment about Middle June. Please be patient for the fix. If you still have this issue after June, please feel free to let me know. Thanks in advance!

Hi All,

 

This appears to have reoccured in the May 2025 release. Parameters do not work for the Matrix visual but do work for the Table visual. The selected parameter can be seen in the filter but the matrix table does not update with the selection.

    Was it fixed between 2022-may 25? or it had never been fixed?

      It was fixed and working but reappeared in the May 2025 version 2.143.878.0.

       

      Note : There is a workaround found of adding a blank column as the first column to the matrix table.
