Feedback on Power BI report design

Hi,

We are developing a report (screenshot attached) that we plan to embed in our application. Screenshot.png

We are facing two challenges during development

1. The report development is taking a long time

2. We are not able to get the desired look and feel due to formatting limitations in the tool

We are new to Power BI and want your thoughts on if we are using the tool in the right way?

Any suggestions on ways to overcome the above challenges will be very helpful.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @shaubhik_ray ,

1. You can use some examples to help you with report development.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/sample-datasets

2. Using desktop for report development is more efficient than on service.

You can switch themes or select the visuals you want with desktop.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/visuals/power-bi-custom-visuals

Best Regards,
Liang
