Feature to show report description in the App

Do we have a feature where we can display the report description?

When we open an App, we see the list of reports 'Report Name' and 'Actions'. I'm looking for an option where we can also show the report description.

When you publish the app in navigation you can add a word document as a part of the app.

I do this all the time for customers and it is very easy.

Hi @ShrutiJ ,

There is no way to show descriptions of report in app now. You can create an idea for it in  https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas to improve the power bi.

As a workaround, you can put text box in every report to show description.

Hi @ShrutiJ ,

There is no way currently to directly show the description by side of Report Name and Actions. However, you can show the description with an additional click.

Just click on the Settings icon(gear) under Actions and you will be able to view the description,

Give a thumbs up if this post helped you in any way and mark this post as solution if it solved your query !!!

Thank you @Anand24

However, in my case, the users access reports from the App. I see that the settings you mentioned is available when you access the report via Workspace.
