    Hi julsr

Welcome to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum. Also, thank you Tutu_in_YYC for the helpful insights.

The Feature Usage and Adoption report in the Power BI Admin Monitoring workspace offers essential insights into how reports are accessed and used within an organization. When the "Consumption Method" field is filled for example, with "Power BI Web" it shows that the report was accessed via the Power BI web interface. The activity count indicates the number of times the report was accessed through that method during the specified date range.

If the "Consumption Method" field is blank, it usually means Power BI couldn't capture the access method. This may be due to incomplete telemetry, indirect access methods (like embedded views), API-based interactions, or older workspaces not upgraded to the modern (V2) experience. Sometimes, these blanks are due to logging limitations in the platform.

For a more accurate view of report usage, cross-reference this report with Power BI Activity Events using Microsoft Purview or the Activity Log API. Upgrading all workspaces to the latest (V2) experience is also crucial.
