Failure to Open Report in PowerBI Desktop - No issues opening in the browser

Hi,

I am running into an issue when I try and open my report in the PowerBI desktop app - 'Failed to open report' and then 'Illegal Characters in Path' but when I open the report in my browser, I have no issues. I will paste the details of the error code in the comments. Wondering if this is an issue with PBI service?

Hi @lr86868

I would suggest downloading and installing the latest version of Power BI desktop and see if that solves your issue.
