Failed to update dataflow

Hello,


I'm with the error below in some dataflow:

"Error: We're sorry an error occurred during evaluation. Request ID: 0e1b967e-5d5c-1849-7dbe-11d5c8d503cd Activity ID: 81c34c92-0401-4b93-8d69-63aa1b8d7885"

 

When I did the update with the data source in desktop, it's OK. 

Now that we have created all PBI Files with dataflows, it will be lots of time& effort consumed.

 

Could you please help to advice what to deal with it?

    Hi, 

    Just found that if we split the file into 2 same parts according to rows, or keep only a few columns (like 5 columns), the refresh will succeed.

     

    So is it caused by the too big size for the file as data source? Or should I use other methods to load the file to the dataflow?

    The excel file has 149M, and 2,248,808 rows.
