Failed to update data source credentials in Power BI - Error 400

I'm encountering an issue when trying to configure a new data source in Power BI. I'm getting the following error:

  • Failed to update data source credentials:
  • Status code: 400
  • Activity ID: ebccac4f-e4d8-4149-3299-f31d023ae4f
  • Request ID: 22b7f0d3-a652-a739-acd8-6e358309e79e

I've tried using OAuth2 authentication with an organizational privacy level setting. The data source type is Lakehouse.

I've attached a screenshot of the error message for reference.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi NavithF ,

    Regarding your question, are you using a gateway to send data to LakeHouse? Please make sure the gateway version is up to date.

    If the authentication method uses 'Oauth2', make sure the logged in account has the corresponding permissions. You can try changing the browser and reconfiguring the data flow.
