I'm having a strange situation. I have a Power BI report with a Scheduled Refresh that was working until last week, but since Thursday I've been getting this "Failed to update data source credentials: The credentials provided for the SharePoint source are invalid."
I checked SharePoint permissions and they. haven't changed. I tested the same report with another user doing the Scheduled Refresh and it works perfectly.
Any ideias why this could happen?
Thanks
Hi @arsenioferraz ,
Data refresh can also fail due to expired cached credentials. Clear your internet browser cache by going signing into Power BI and going to https://app.powerbi.com?alwaysPromptForContentProviderCreds=true .This forces an update of your credentials.
I have a question, whether your colleague configures refresh after republishing the same report or directly takes over the dataset to configure refresh.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz
