Failed to update data source credentials: A network-related

When I prepare a report on Power Bi, extracting the data from SQL Sever successfully through the desktop app. When I publish it on app.powerbi.com, and I try to either Refresh or Schedule refreshs, I get this issue. It is impossible for me to update my reports because of this issue. Please assist, thanks!

Hi @tonyagc91 ,

There could be several reasons you get these error messages. Follow the below steps to see if you can resolve the issue.

Step 6 - Check that TCP/IP and Named Pipes are enabled.
Step 7 - Check that allow remote connections for this server is using.
Step 8 - Check the port number that SQL Server is using.
