Fail to upload user matrix report to server (cannot find personal gateway)

Hi Expert,

I customized user matrix report (without local data) in desktop and publish to server, it always fine.

However, when I add a local excel file with user matrix report, complete everything in desktop (it work.) and publish to server, it show below message.

Thx Binbin.

I change the local excel file to Google sheet thus data source change from on-premises to web, so don't need on-premises (either standard or personal) gateway anymore.

Thanks anyway.

Hi @Anonymous ,

The error message “one or more cloud data sources for this dataset have been deleted” in Power BI usually occurs when the dataset you are using has lost its connection to one or more cloud data sources. To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

  1. Recreate cloud data sources: Click the “Recreate cloud data sources” button to reestablish the connection between your dataset and the cloud data sources.
  2. Check gateway connection: Ensure that the dataset is connected to a gateway and that every data source requiring a gateway is properly mapped.
  3. Update credentials: Verify that all credentials are up to date by navigating to the dataset settings, clicking “Data source credentials,” and reentering the credentials.
