Hi @BlackCurrant ,

As per my knowledge it looks like it's a sync issue between your Azure AD and power bi.Is it a email enabled security group?.

You can contact your organisations Azure support team then will help you in enabling the sync.

I hope it will be helpful.

Thanks,

Hi @BlackCurrant

According to your description, you seem to be using Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse pipeline.

Please refer to these links for how to send emails:

Thanks for responding. I guess I could be a bit clearer. I am using fabric data factory and I would like to use the group name I have from EntraId in the TO list of the e-mail acitvity. I can't access the emails inside the group to be able to pass them as email address. If the enter the group name it says enter a valid e-mail adress. so, this group has useres which has access to a certain workspace and I would like to send e-mails to all the the group this workspace. Thanks!

Hi @BlackCurrant

If your group is mail-enabled, use the group mail address instead of the group name.

If your group does not allow email, you may need to use Logic APP to call the Microsoft Graph API to get the group members' email addresses and then pass them to the Data Factory's email activity.
