Creating my first semantic model in Fabric and I have hit another issue thats quite annoying.
When I join my dim to my fact it shows the many on the dim and the one on the fact. When it should be the other way round. I have checked the tables and there is definitely 1 in the dimension to many in the fact table.
Why is this happening in the Semantic model in Fabric. have I dont something wrong or is it a bug?
Hi @DebbieE ,
It sounds like you are experiencing an unexpected behavior where the base of the relationship between the dimension table and the fact data table seems to be opposite. Can you provide more details on how you established this relationship?
Best Regards,
Adamk Kong
What details do you need?
Essentially, it seems that in the semantic model in fabric its not picking up the joins and always just going for the first join type every type without checking the data.
I have done all of the joins now manually. They were literally all 1 (in the dim) to Many (in the fact)
