Fabric Link Dataverse F&O
I use Fabric Link to connect Dataverse and F&O to Fabric from PowerApps.
However, any changes I make in F&O are not reflected in Fabric.
I tried referring to Copilot and GPT, but they keep suggesting I refresh, which hasn’t resolved the issue. How can I fix this?
Additional information:
In my Dataverse Manage Tables, the tables File Attachment and Elastic File Attachment have been stuck on "Initial Sync In Progress" for two weeks now. I can’t remove them because they were automatically added by Dataverse, and I can’t take any action on them.
Now, when I try to add a new table to the link, it also gets stuck at "Sync in Progress.". I tried to relink the table twice, it's still stuck at Sync In Progress.

Hi ian_
The issue is likely caused by the stuck "Initial Sync In Progress" state of the File Attachment and Elastic File Attachment tables. Here's how to fix it:
Check Sync Logs: Go to Dataverse > System Jobs and review the logs for errors related to these tables.
Force Sync Restart: Disable the Fabric Link, delete it, and recreate the connection. Ensure no pending sync jobs exist in System Jobs before relinking.
Exclude Problematic Tables: If the tables are not required, exclude them by customizing the table sync configuration during relinking.
Microsoft Support: If the issue persists, open a ticket with Microsoft as this could be a backend issue.

There are no log error at all. I can't exclude the table fileattachment & elasticfileattachment. I will force sync restart the link within next few days

Can you expound a little on your suggestions? I too have a Dataverse environment that supports Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, and I set up the "Link to Microsoft Fabric" a few days ago, but it seems to be stuck.

Check Sync Logs: Go to Dataverse > System Jobs and review the logs for errors related to these tables. Where are you seeing this? From make.powerapps.com environment?
-
Force Sync Restart: Disable the Fabric Link, delete it, and recreate the connection. Ensure no pending sync jobs exist in System Jobs before relinking. How do you disable the link, or Force Sync Restart? Where do I find System Jobs?

Exclude Problematic Tables: If the tables are not required, exclude them by customizing the table sync configuration during relinking. My understanding is that Link to Fabric takes ALL tables and there is nothing you can do to pick and choose individual tables.
Thanks in advance.

Hi ian_ ,
Thanks Poojara_D12 for the quick reply. I have some other thoughts to add:
1.Ensure that the SQL row version change tracking configuration key is enabled in your Finance and Operations (F&O) environment.
2.If the change tracking is not enabled, you might need to turn on maintenance mode in your F&O environment to enable it.
3. Verify that your Dataverse environment has enough storage and that your Fabric capacity is within the same geographical region as your Dataverse environment.
