    Hi Kei88

This usually means the pipeline sees a change but can’t line up the items to show the comparison. It often happens when:

    • The item type isn’t supported (comparison works only for datasets, reports, and dataflows).

    • The item was renamed or re-published, so it now has a different ID.

    • Changing branches or overwriting items changed the metadata, making Fabric treat it as new.

    • You don’t have Contributor rights on both stages.

Check both your INT and PROD workspaces to make sure the items are the same and have the same ID (you can see this in the item’s URL). Also confirm the item type is supported. Try making a small edit to a supported report or dataset to see if the compare button appears.

If everything matches but the button is still missing, it’s likely a Fabric issue. In that case, log a support ticket with Microsoft and include the workspace IDs, pipeline name, and deployment time so they can investigate.
