Fabric Compute and Storage Cost
Hi , it is bit u clear on the cost of using fabric work load. Any light on this topic will be very much appreciated.
Scenario- We already have power BI premium capacity provisioned and I would like to understand where I would incur more cost.
If I use Dataflow Gen 1 will I be charged extra for compute and storage ?
If I use Dataflow Gen 2 without any data designation will I be charged for compute ?
IF I use Dataflow Gen2 with data designation as lakehouse will I be charged for compute and storage
If I use Data factory will i be charged ?
If I use Data warehouse will I be charged?
If I use Data Engineering Spark engine,, will I be charged?
Is there any free amount of storage allowed in onelake for premium capacity?
Regards
Hi dimsandfacts
If you have Power BI Premium, then there is no additional cost to use the Fabric compute. All that it will do is use your existing CPU and Memory.
For the lakehouse storage it will be charged at the same rate as Azure Blob storage which is $0.023/GB
