Fabric Capacity Metrics
We've installed the Fabric Capacity Metrics app as the Capacity Metrics Analysis app is being decommissioned. However, we're receiving the followng error message,
Couldn't load the data for this visual
[ccon]Internal Error: Error obtaining data location. [/ccon]. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.
We have opted not to enable the preview version of Micorsoft Fabric. Could this be the reason for the error message? If so, what options does one have for capacity reporting if they haven't enabled the preview version of Fabric?
This has been resolved by uninstalling the existing Capacity Metrics Analysis app, uninstall the Fabric Capacity Metrics app and then reinstall the Fabric Capacity Metrics app. This appears to have resolved the issue. The gist is to remove the prior Capacity Metrics Analysis app before installing the new one.

I have a question. How do you uninstall this or is it simply deleting/removing the Workspace?

I created an issue to see if we can receive any feedback around this scenario.

I ran into this issue today, indeed installing the app again solved the problem, but in my case i didn't delete the previous workspace but rather installed it again in a new fresh workspace:
Go to https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi/pbi_pcmm.microsoftpremiumfabricpreviewreport
Get the app, it will redirect you to PowerBI and it will ask you to choose an install option, there you can choose the install a copy in a new workspace option.
Basically i couldn't delete the app because other users had access to it and it was working for them. I didn't have admin rights over the capacity at the moment the app was installed, so i theorize this issue could be associated with credentials.

TSHECKEL Quite possible. You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.
