Fabric Capacity Metrics App Errors since installing v53 (29th Jan 26) version.

We are facing regular issues with data in the metrics app not displaying? Anyone else facing the same issue and know how to resolve?

Thanks for checking!  We upgraded to ve54 of the app yesterday and have not faced this issue since so I believe this may have been an issue with V53.  Thanks again.

This looks related to the Fabric Capacity Metrics App v53 update (Jan 29). After this update, some tenants may temporarily see visuals not loading or showing blank data due to a dataset/semantic model refresh mismatch or a backend regression introduced with the new version. This isn’t caused by capacity size, permissions, or tenant configuration on your side.

As a first step, please try manually refreshing the Capacity Metrics App dataset and confirm the correct capacity and a recent date range (for example, last 7 or 30 days). If the issue continues, removing and reinstalling the Metrics App and refreshing once usually resolves it.

Thanks.  Will try removal and reinstall as manual refresh has not resolved.  Is this a known issue with the latest v53?  Can a new version urgently be made available to resolve this issue?

At this point, there isn’t a publicly confirmed widespread issue specific to v53, but we are seeing reports from some tenants where the Capacity Metrics App doesn’t populate data correctly after the update. These cases are typically related to backend telemetry or dataset alignment rather than the report itself. Reinstalling the app is the right next step, and in most cases fixes the issue.

Hi - It's not resolved yet.  Despite re-installing the app.  We have an MS Support ticket open and have sent the trace files for further investigation.
