FOCUS MODE : Copy as image with caption: bottom of visual cut off

Hi,

This issue is an some kind of echo to this one (Copy as image with caption: bottom of visual cut o... - Microsoft Fabric Community), but not really.

As a matter of fact, we know the know our charts, tables can be cut off when it does contain an horizontal or vertical bar if we want to use this button.

But the problem is, we still have our visual cropped when using the "focus mode"mbourdel_3-1752678662283.png

whereas it displays way much more columns the normal mode can display.

Still cropped

To sum up : Can you make the "Copy on focus mode", displaying the same thing we see when using "focus mode" ?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thanks for the follow-up. Since this concern has already been raised in the Issues forum, the same link mentioned earlier is where you can upvote to increase its visibility.

If you're specifically looking to have the “Copy in Focus Mode” reflect exactly what’s shown on screen, and that functionality isn’t currently supported, you’re welcome to also post it in the Ideas forum Fabric Ideas - Microsoft Fabric Community that’s where enhancement suggestions go. The Power BI team often prioritizes features that receive the most votes, so every bit of support helps!

Best regards,
Chaithra E.

Hi,

This problem is impacting our users using reports already in production, and they don't have the possibility to duplicate in a new page.

Can you please send me the link of the idea so other people viewing this post can quickly click on it and add a vote ?

Thank you in advance

Hi @Anonymous ,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

Currently, Power BI does not provide a way to directly copy the Focus Mode from one part of the report to another. However, you can simulate a similar effect by creating a dedicated report page that replicates the Focus Mode experience:

  • Duplicate the visual and place it on a new page.

  • Resize it to occupy the entire canvas for a cleaner, focused view.

  • Apply page-level filters that reflect the same context as the original.

Since this feature is not available natively, it has been posted in the Isssues forum for consideration. If you'd like to see this feature added, please consider casting your vote in the forum. The Power BI team reviews user feedback and often prioritizes highly-voted suggestions for future development.

Hope this helps,
Best Regards
Chaithra E.
