Eye Cancer Pie Chart

Hello Guys,

I am using the pie charts in some of reports. Some of them have a big amount of dimensions. I would like to the following thing:

1- Use a max of 10 colours and 10 dimensions

2- In case I have more than 10 dimensions sumarise the rest in "Other" with a single colour.

3- Use always the same colour for the same dimension in all the Charts of the report

=>Is it possible in PowerBI?

This is how currently my eye cancer Pie Chart looks like:

I will strongly appreciate any help!

Cheers

Alex

  • Hi FeelTheFlow ,

    You can achieve this by using Groups. In your Power BI desktop, right click on the dimension and create groups.
    You can create 9 groups of single elements each and then one last group with all others.

    Now you need to take this new group in the Pie Chart instead of the dimension you are using.

    Regarding colors, you can manually color them from Format tab.

    Give a thumbs up if this post helped you in any way and mark this post as solution if it solved your query !!!
