Extracting Power bi embed codes from PBi service

Hi All,

We have quite a of reports that have the publish to web embed codes generated. Does anyone know of a quick way to extract them all from the power bi service, other than me having to go through each report seperately?

I've had a look in the admin centre but can't see this as an option.

Thanks

Huw.

  • Hi, Huw

I'm sorry. There is no way to export specific embed code, you can only copy the code manually. You can view and manage embed code in each workspace in the service.

    Hi, Huw

You should have admin permission, and then you can view and manage all embed codes in admin portal.

    Hi Janey,

Thanks for your response, we can view them, but I would like to export all of them into excel, but the export option doesn't appear to include this information.

    Thanks

    Huw.

      Hi, Huw

You can export the tables to .csv file, then you can open the file in excel. The specific link still needs to be viewed on the service (view on web), you can filter out the report you want to view through the filter, and then click on the links and view them in service.

        Hi Janey,

Sorry it's taken me a while to respond, i've been busy with other work.

Just to clarify on my previous response, I would have to view the individal emebd codes that has been generated in the service, and that there is no way to export them into Excel from the service?

        Thanks

        Huw.
