Hi all,
Need some help here so I'll keep it short and sweet. I have created reports that I embed using iframes into Visual Studio Online dashboards.
My report contains card visualizations that I would like to have the ability to: upon clicking the card, the browser redirects the user you to a query in Visual Studio (as an external link).
However, the only way that i was able to put external links on my cards is if I first pin them to a dashboard. The issue with this is I cannot "Publish to Web" for a Dashboard and only for a report. Is there a workaround that will allow me to either:
1.) Add external links to cards at the report level
2.) Embed a PowerBI Dashbaord through iframe (Publish to Web)
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!
Hi @antkwik,
1. Maybe you can use a Multi-row card visual instead.
2. Firstly, please be aware that "Publish to web" won't be a good idea for private data. Reference power-bi/service-publish-to-web. Secondly, if you want to embed a dashboard, please refer to power-bi/developer/embedding-content.
Best Regards,
Dale
