Exporting Paginated Reports Via Power Automate - timeout errors?

Hi all,

We have three (~50kb) paginated reports in a workspace that we need to export as xlsx files once a month. To avoid the potential of failure we've seen using the internal subscription service, we're using power automate. Two of the paginated reports export just fine. The third, when I run the Export To File step, hangs up for ~20 minutes, in the course of which it gets "BadRequest: Http request failed: the server did not respond within the timeout limit." error three times before giving up. Initially I thought this might be because the report was too big, but it's only 48kb. The report runs just fine when I do it myself in Power BI. What the heck is going on here? Does anyone have any ideas? I've also posted over in the Power Automate community but no-one there has had anything to suggest.

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    There some limitations you can check in the list.

    • The number of exports (single visuals or report pages) that can be included in an exported report is 50 (not including exporting paginated reports). If the request includes more exports, the API returns an error and the export job is canceled.
