Export usage metrics data to excel automatically

I have 18 reports and i wish to keep track on the report visit and would like to store the report visit information offline so that i can have past historical data and reconstruct a new report with past historical data in it. Is it possible for me to export the usage metric data to excel automatically every week?

Automatic: a button to send the excel to a specific folder.

did you take a look to admin monitoring applicaiton?

it should have all the info you wish in one single place.

the underlying dataset is auto updated and readonly.

maybe you could do an API DAX call to export data an put them where you wish to keep historical data.

If you have anyone with Python experience. You could set up a script to make an API call to Power BI to download the usage metrics.
