Export underlying data not available to end users while export setting is correct

I created a report and adjusted report settings on both global and current file so end users can export summarized and underlying data. However, they are unable to do so when viewing the report in on...

    Hi , KrisB2019 

    Can end user  export the summarized data?

    And please recheck the  this two points:

    1.make sure the end user have the dataset "build " permission , not dashboard or report permission

     

    2.make sure  that Power BI admins didn’t disable the  function of "export of data" for  some groups

     

     

    If you still have this issue for Power BI, you can  create a support ticket in Power BI Support to get further help and better advice.

You were absolutely right v-easonf-msft, it was #1! When I shared with the end users, I did not have it set up so the end user had the "build" permission. I've reshared with that permission built in and it works. I can't believe it was something so simple and really appreciate your help.
