Export to PPT not working properly

Good afternoon,

I have an issue when I try to export this report to PPT. Some of the visualizations get sqeezed and there are scrolling bars as below. My workaround has so far been to export to PDF and then use ADOBE's online converter to PPT which solves the issue. So my issue when I export to PPT, some of the visuals don't render properly but they do render properly when

Hi @dochtang

Check the font and resolution of your report:

  • When exporting to PowerPoint, if the report uses a custom font, that font will be replaced with a default font.
  • The resolution of exported report pages is 1280 pixels x 720 pixels.

Hi @dochtang

To export your Power BI report to PPTX / PDF with filters and slicers (with a Power BI Pro license), see https://medium.com/bi-helper/automated-distribution-of-power-bi-reports-and-dashboards-25fde6c68af0.

BI Helper is a third-party SaaS tool that automates the generation and emailing of PDF / PPTX reports from Power BI, inside and outside your organization. Formatting and page sizing are all properly sorted, since this tool uses a different image generation process from Power BI.

Hi @dochtang ,

Based on the screenshot you provided, it appears that the visual object is having problems displaying after export. According to the official documentation, there are several types of visual objects that are not supported for export: Custom visuals that haven't been certified, ArcGIS visual and R and Python visuals.

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Henry

Thank you for the response Vahid. Unfortunely my report is 16:9 and I'm using the default font style. It's strange because only certain visualizations are not fitting properly.

The solution may be related to your response. What I ended up doing is using the format painter on the visuals that do work and pasting it on the visuals that don't.
