Export to PDF shrinks my visuals
When I filter my data and then try to export the report to a PDF version, the entire page seems to shrink to about 2/3 the size, while still keeping the same canvas size. So, I end up having a 1/3 of the page just being empty space on the right and bottom. See Screenshots for reference

This thread is two years old and Power BI still has this problem. I want to be able to create reports with a template (in letter format) and then export the report as a PDF file without having one page shrink while the other pages are at the correct dimensions. Microsoft, please fix this! No workarounds, no having to add blank pages...an actual fix.

Tell me about it....
I even got on multiple calls with Microsoft tech "support" when this originally became an issue for me and they had to keep elevating it to the next more-competent tech. Nothing ever got resolved, as you can see.
It's probably never going to get fixed at this rate because they are hedging all of their efforts into AI so that they can actually never have to interact with their customers. "Just use Copilot to solve your problems!"

Hi tanneredwards7 ,
This issue could be caused by the page size settings in your report. By default, report pages are 16:9 in size. If your report page size is set to a custom size, it may not be compatible with the PDF export settings, which could cause the issue you are experiencing.
To resolve this issue, you can try changing the page size settings in your report to a standard size, such as 16:9, and then try exporting the report to PDF again.

Anonymous Unfortunately this is not the case. I have been able to print numerous reports from this same template with no previous issue, and this issue only pops up after I make changes to the document.
If I save the document after making changes, close the file, and then reopen the new saved version before printing to PDF, the document will print normally. But after I make changes again, the document becomes re-sized as it appears in the screenshot.
Note: This issue occurs on other templates that I have made with various different canvas sizes and which are completely different than the one shown in the screenshot

This also happens to me, I have no custom page size all are 16:9. As with you I have to resave the file and seems to work next time it is exported. However next time the report is rerun the export issue happens again.
