Export to PDF - selected pages
Is there any way to select multiple pages to Export to PDF without exporting all pages or just one page?
I'd like to be able to export say 2 or 10 pages from a report with 50 pages, without having to do them individually or export the whole thing and then delete a whole bunch of pages.

Hi emmalucas ,
I'm pretty sure there is no way to do this natively, but you might look into Power BI Robots which I think does support selecting pages:

Yeah, I don't think paying for a third party application to do it is really a 'solution'.
It would be great if Microsoft could add this as an improvement 🙂

Hi emmalucas ,
I don't disagree with you. I don't work for Microsoft or have any say in what is developed. Just trying to help people understand the options or tools that are available.

I have the opposite problem. I have a 71 page report which I want to export in it's entirety to PDF or Powerpoint and in trying I get this message:
Seriously Microsoft?
Having a workaround to be able to print 1-50 and then 51-71 would help me but as this tread suggests, this is currently not a feature 😞

Hello emmalucas ,
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortuntately this will not work in our case as the report originates from 1 Power BI desktop file (with report pages and data embedded). The data for this one does not come from a data lake or database solution.
I know that it's possible to have the data in 1 file and report pages in 1 or more other files, but it will make working with this more cumbersome as well as make it more difficult for users to access the pages which are part of a Power BI App on the service.
I'm hoping for a feature update which would simply permit the user to choose which pages to print (or of course the limit of 50 pages lifted) but when this will happen in the big question of course.Regards,
Walter

Hi emmalucas ,
You can automate user-specific PDF generation and emailing (i.e., with slicers and filters applied) using BI Helper https://bihelper.tech. One of its standard features is page selection from Power BI.
BI Helper works with a Power BI Pro license and there is no restriction on your users being outside your domain (vendors, clients, etc).
