Hi,
It seems my end users in power bi service are having trouble with Exporting to PDF. the PDF-download will always show the default value, even when selecting "current values' from the drop down box. There are no custom visuals or R-scripts running. The funny thing is that I don't have that issue as an admin.
We are using the "old"workspaces. is there something wrong in Power Bi, or is there something I can do as an Admin in my organization?
Kind regards,
Same issue and there are a few other threads on this.
Seems to be linked to Bookmarks on reports, which has only recently been a issue as were working fine previously.
Users have to edit (chose the slicer), save and then export the report, which is not an option in an App (as there is no edit or save option).
Thanks for the tip @bryan7931, I'll test this bookmark theory. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem
@Anonymous Can you please check the setting in Power BI Admin Portal >> Tenant Settings >> Export reports as Power point presentations or PDF documents (Enabled).
hi, @Anonymous
Please check the limitations of export to PDF
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-pdf#limitations-and-considerations
If the Export to PDF menu item isn't available in the Power BI service, it's likely because your tenant administrator disabled the feature. Contact your tenant administrator for details.
Reports that are owned by a user outside your Power BI tenant domain, such as a report owned by someone outside your organization and shared with you, can't be published to PDF.
If you share a dashboard with someone outside of your organization, and thereby, a user who isn't in your Power BI tenant, that user can't export the shared dashboard's associated reports to PDF. For example, if you're aaron@contoso.com, you can share with cassie@cohowinery.com. But cassie@cohowinery.com can't export the associated reports to PDF.
Best Regards,
Lin
