Export to PDF issue with Visio visual
Anyone else having an issue exporting a published report page to PDF that includes a Visio visual. All other visuals on the page export fine but the Visio visual is just a blank space. Same happens when exporting to PowerPoint. Any suggestions??
Thanks for the info Anonymous but exporting a Visio visual to PDF used to work but has broken sometime in the past few months. A workaround I have discovered is to use the print report option and then select the "Print to PDF". Not perfect for all situations but OK for my users.

From what I understand, because it is inherently validation specific. I don't think it can be exported to PDF and PPT.

What worked for me was ..
- Publish to PowerBI service
- from PowerBI service Export to Powerpoint (choose the embed live data option)
- the Visio PDFs nicely from Powerpoint
