Every month, we export multiple PDF files from a single report (not a paginated one) published in Service. Files used to be around 0.5 MB each until last month, now they are over 2 MB each. We didn't make any changes in the report since the previous export was done. We even exported a very old version of the report from Service and also there we observed a vastly inflated size. There is no change in size when exporting from Power BI Desktop.
What changed?
Hi @szapo ,
Is this problem only with this one report or with all reports?
Plaease try to delete and republish this report to Power BI Service, then try to export.

Hi. We only observed it with this particular report, but we don't have other examples to verify if that applied to other reports or not. I did publish this report to Service under a different name and the issue remained the same. I forgot to add that I tried exporting using two different browsers on two different PCs (Edge and Chrome) and the size was inflated in both cases.
I "downzised" the report and its visuals to the lowest possible resolution, but I could barely squeeze everything and the font size is already 8 so we can't go any smaller. Despite that, some PDF files barely fit under the threshold of 1 MB required by our file distribution system and it seems very likely that it will be crossed in a few months.
