Export to Excel
Trying to export little more than 40k rows into excel and i only get 20k+ rows and it's random and different each time which is concerning. Sometimes it exports 22k rows and sometimes 23k rows without any warning. I've opened a service ticket for the same reason and it was closed with following message "Resolution: When you are using export to excel the gateway has a limitation of 16 mb of data that can bring". They say that source table should be less than 16MB in order to be able to export everything to excel, which is stange. Just wondering if anyone else have this issue.
Below link says i should be able to export upto 150k rows but i'm having trouble exporting little more than 40k rows. And this is using power bi service. I can esxport 30k rows using desktop.

Our datasource is Oracle and and i'm using on premises data gateway to connect to database using direct query. I've created a simple table with around 10 columns and has around 40k rows with filters. And i'm trying to export that to excel, it does export the data but never all of it.

Based on document, it mentioned directquery mode can only export 16Mb records. Since you're try to export lot of columns(16), I think the issue may related to it.

When using DirectQuery, the maximum amount of data that can be exported is 16 MB. This may result in exporting less than the maximum number of rows, especially if there are many columns, data that is difficult to compress, and other factors that increase file size and decrease
