Export to Excel - Underlying Data

When I trying to export underlying data from the reports based on dim tables and facts table(Star Schema) with 1 to many relationships, it only exports the total values in an excel file instead of the row-level data.

Might be a dumb question but have you enabled "export underlying data" feature in Options. And i believe that has to be enabled/allowed in Service also (if the report is viewed Online)

Hi, cyclist007 I have enabled that option. I connect to shared datasets. I guess that some of the measures that I use are at the report file level than on the main dataset. This might be causing the issue because if I do not use measures underlying data is being exported properly. I do not want to migrate all the measures to the main dataset.

        Hi, tanujg

Is it the underlying dataset for exporting visual objects or the underlying dataset for the entire report?

Did you select the base data set when exporting the data? Does the analysis in Excel work?
