Export pivot to Excel in Matrix format with connec...

I have a lot of users that want to export the matrix visual to Excel which I know is possible when choosing 'Export with current layout'.

My question is if there has been an update to this that will export the matrix and the connection to the model with it so the user can update fields and filter values after exporting.

Currently, the only way to allow this is for the user to recreate the pivot in Excel. I was hoping that, if this isn't possible in Power BI, if there might be a 3rd party tool that will allow you to do that.

This is a pretty common request no matter what Company I'm working with building reports.
