Export pbix file to excel/csv


Hi,

 

I have the report data in pbix file (say some 20 columns in one table)

 

I need to export that data in excel/CSV . 

Is there any easy way
to do it?

I understand it can be done manually usi9ng export option or copy/paste.

 

But since the data will be refreshed almost everyday..i
do not want to do it manually export to csv

So please let me know if any ideas if anything can be automated

Why don't you use excel to connect to the data source, you can google it for detail it is fairly simply. 
If you really want the data from pbix, there are only two ways.

1. As you mentioned, manually copy paste the entire table or export date to excel or CSV 

2. Using the pbix local port number from PBI Desktop temp directory for connecting Power BI Desktop Model from Excel.
