I'm exporting some reports from a dashboard and some of the export .csv sheets are named properly and the others are named 'data'. Can anyone identify the issue?
Hi @Anonymous ,
I have tested on my side and it works well.
If you are a pro user, I suggest you to create a support ticket to get further help.

@Icey thanks for that! As I mentioned, some of the exported sheets have names, some don't (instead they are named 'data.csv'). Yes, I'm a pro user, and I'll look into creating the ticket. Cheers!

Can you elaborate on 'label'?
Are they the same as title? Because they all have titles. If I check in (edit details > tile details > title), they all exist.
@GilbertQ the .csv is being generated from the report/visual that is in the dashboard.
Does the source still matter if they all have titles?
@GilbertQ I've also enabled the 'Display title and subtitle' option and they are all showing titles.
I can manually change the name from data.csv to actual file name, once exported, but when there are more than 50 and they need to be pulled everyday, it becomes a pain.
@GilbertQ can you please clarify what you mean by 'connect via excel'? Also, is there a property in Power BI Desktop that may deal with titles etc?
Also they are needed for snapshots of past (for hisotrical reference); the data source is dynamic.
Thanks for this!
Hi there
You can connect via Excel by going into the Power BI Service where you can see all the reports, you then get an option to connect via Excel as shown below.
This then connects via a Pivot table and you can create the exact data you need.
As far as I know in power BI Desktop you can only give your visuals a Title name, but not sure if that is reflected when exporting data.
Thanks!
Still trying to figure out the naming issue.
