Export Paginated Reports
Hi All,
I have a requirement to develop a paginated report in Power BI report builder and publish it to the Power BI service, from where users want to export the report to excel (that's the requirement, they want it both on power bi service for collaboration, as well as in excel for some paperwork). Now the report will have different objects in it like matrix, cards, images, textboxes etc. I want to know whether it would be possible for them to export the report in the exact same format (having all the visualisations, logos etc. properly in place) as in the power bi service or they are just going to have the underlying data of a visual in a flat structure tabular format (as in case of a normal power bi desktop report)? I can't check it myself because I don't have access to a workspace which has a premium capacity attached to it as of now (which is a pre-requisite of publishing a paginated report to the power bi service).
If it's not possible to export the report to excel in the exact same format, then I think it makes more sense for us to have the reports developed in power bi desktop, and after exporting the data from the power bi service to excel - develop a vba macro to generate the required report format.
Thanks

hi, RD2019
According to my knowledge, When you export the data from visual to excel. The format is the same with data model format, not same with visual format.
