Export Matrix visual from Power BI which have Calculated groups as values and Switch Values to Rows

Export Matrix visual from Power BI which have Calculated groups as values

and Switch Values to Rows Option enabled on it.

 

When we export, its not retaining the visual exact format, instead showing all the values as columns in excel.

below is power bi view

below is excel view while exporting

Need a way to export powerbi view as is into excel for user.

    Hi rkCam 

     

    Yeah that is true it should do that, but depending on how a table is put together it might sometimes not be able to be completed.

    Can you confirm when exporting you are selecting the option as shown below?

      Yes Gilbert, i am selecting the "Data with current Layout" option. For workaround i have used "Export ">> "Anlyze in Excel" option and build Pivot table again using Power BI Data model in Excel. That way i was able to provide data to user, but actual requirement is "User should be able to export to excel as is without any additional steps"
