Export Excel keeping column type

Hi all,

I have a Power BI model based on a SSAS Multidimensional and I have published it on Cloud.

When I try to export a table or any graphic with values shown as percentage, the type is not beeing kept and excel shows me the data as number.

Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry for showing almost nothing.

In Power BI CloudIn Power BI Cloud

In ExcelIn Excel

Thank you all!

Best,
Lorenzo.

Hi @Anonymous,

As I tested, I create a report in Power Bi desktop using date from SSAS as follows. The data type is percentage.

I publish it to Power Bi service, and export data to excel, it shows exactly.

For your issue, you can set data as percentage on Excel Home page(highlighted in red line).

Hello,

the problem is that with my live connection on SSAS Multimensional I can't use the "Model" panel, so I can't choose the type from Power BI Desktop. I can do it developing SSAS, but at the moment of exportation I still have the issue:
